For six months we’ve been warned to travel Catalina Blvd. at risk of significant delays due to City work on emergency pipeline repair.
In anticipation of traffic returning to normal on 6/30/2018 (next Saturday) we became euphoric! Okay, maybe not euphoric, but “cautiously optimistic”?
We asked city engineers (email@example.com) if our long, local nightmare might soon be over. Their answer a week ago was:
“Thank you for contacting the Department of Public Works. This is to advise you that we've received your inquiry and have forwarded to the appropriate project team.”
We never received a direct response. But we have noticed the warning signs have been updated:
It’s amazing how hard it is to photograph electric signs, but perhaps you can make out the update...6/30/18 has been changed to 7/31/18.
