When NTC became Liberty Station in the late 1990s, proprietor McMillin Companies boasted of the beauty, history, charm, and elegance of North Chapel, the nondenominational facility celebrated and preserved since its creation in 1942.
That changed last year.
McMillin announced North Chapel would close to religious services and events at the end of June.
Then they pushed that off to year’s end.
The owners want to make North Chapel more profitable by converting it to a restaurant or other commercial enterprise.
