Point Loma Association extends a sincere ‘thank you’ to our District 2 Councilmember Lorie Zapf for her many years of service to our community and her strong support of our all-volunteer organization. We will miss working with you!
Ms. Zapf has listened and responded to her constituent’s needs, not always able to fulfill each request or satisfy every demand, yet working diligently to address issues fairly and to build consensus to get things done.
In an era where partisanship dominates discussions from coast to coast, we need public officials dedicated to serving people rather than pledging allegiance to party lines
Special thanks also to Conrad Wear, District 2 Representative to the Peninsula. Always responsive, congenial, focused, but ready to share a laugh, Conrad is a wealth of knowledge on issues that impact quality of life in our neighborhoods. Any question he cannot answer instantly – and there are not many – he researches and responds quickly. He too will be missed.
But votes matter. With this month’s election comes new leadership. The change happens in mid-December. Our Association plans to meet soon with newly-elected Councilmember Jennifer Campbell. Our hope is that strong support and attentive service to our community will continue. The bar is set quite high.
