Carson Edgington

Carson Edgington is a Principal at RICK, a local land development & civil design firm that has been involved in the growth of San Diego for almost 70 years.

As a registered civil engineer with over 25 years of experience, Carson has led the development of several large scale residential, public works and life science & technology projects within Southern California. In addition to his role as Engineer of Record, he is responsible for enhancing company culture throughout RICK’s eleven offices within California, Arizona, Nevada and Colorado. Carson’s passion is building and mentoring a high performing work force centered around a diverse team of professionals.

Carson currently services on the YMCA’s Mission Valley Board of Advisors and is a member of the Facilities Committee. He is also an active member of the Society of American Military Engineers.

Carson is a San Diego native who has lived in Point Loma for nearly a decade. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in General Engineering from Idaho State University. Prior to enrolling in college, he served in the military. Carson was enlisted in the US Army Infantry at Scholfield Barracks, Hawaii.

When Carson is not at work, trying to solve complex engineering problems, he is probably traveling abroad with his wife Aida or pretending to be a contractor while remodeling his house.
