Jen Nicolai

Jen Nicolai is a proud PLHS Pointer! After moving away for college and living in New York City, Philadelphia, and Los Angeles, she always knew she would come back home. In 2019, she and her husband, Adam (a PLA Public Art Committee volunteer), made a heartfelt return to Point Loma.

Jen is the Director of Advancement, Campaign and Major Gifts at the San Diego Symphony. Her passion lies in nurturing the arts scene in San Diego, driven by her commitment to its growth. She earned her BA in Dance from San Jose State University and later pursued a MA in Arts Administration from Goucher College. Jen looks forward to bringing her expertise in the arts and fundraising to PLA.

When she's not working, Jen can be found with her husband and their daughter, Nora, running around Point Loma and enjoying all the activities that come with having a 4-year-old.

Jen has always believed that Point Loma is more than just a neighborhood you pass through; it's a destination. Since returning home, she has witnessed the significant impact that PLA has on its community and is excited to be more involved.
