Pam Hamilton Lester
Pam earned her B.A and M.A. at Florida State University. She began her career as Program Manager with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development in D.C. and then L.A.
Pam moved to working in the private sector in 1976 and came to San Diego in ’78. She served as San Diego’s Centre City Development chief executive (1988-94), continuing as senior vice president and chief real estate negotiator until her retirement in 2006.
Pam joined NTC Foundation and served as President/CEO from 2007 until 2013.
Community service is a big part of her life. She’s been on various boards – ScrippsHealth, Soroptimist International, Balboa Park Conservancy and The Point Loma Assembly.
Pam says, “I’ve admired the work of the PLA for many years. I’m delighted to now have the time to join PLA in its mission to enhance our community.”
