2024 PLA ANNUAL DINNER
The 2024 PLA Annual Dinner was held on October 14th with the theme being “The Gateway Gala”. We encouraged guests to come costumed, and many did!
NTC Foundation received the PLA’s 2024 Lighthouse Award. Their decades long mission of “preserving and revitalizing “ San Diego’s arts and culture scene is especially noteworthy this year as they partner with Cygnet Theater to build the Joan and Irwin Jacobs Performing Arts Center in the historic Navy Building 178 at Liberty Station. The Center is affectionately called “The Joan.”
The 2024 Community Champion Award went to the PLA weekly newsletter – affectionately called “The Newsletter.” Clark Burlingame was presented with the award.
Three hundred guests are ideal for an intimate gathering at the Kona Kai Ballroom.
Thanks to attendees, underwriters, community contributors and live and silent auction bidders to support the all-volunteer Association’s work enhancing life on the Peninsula. And, thank you Steven Silva and Mike Klose for the photos.
