A WICKED AFFAIR… COME IF YOU DARE
2019 PLA ANNUAL DINNER
The 2019 PLA Annual Dinner on October 30th was a Halloween party. We encouraged guests to come costumed, and many did! Formality was replaced by frivolity, younger people outnumbered seniors, and we were fortunate no one from ANAC monitored the volume of laughter and conversation.
We presented a Community Champion Award to County Supervisor Greg Cox and a Lighthouse award to Mothers and Daughters Club Assisting Philanthropies (MADCAPS).
Three hundred guests are ideal for an intimate gathering at the Kona Kai Ballroom. This year we squeezed in 30 more. Cozy!
Thanks to attendees, underwriters, community contributors and live and silent auction bidders, our single annual fundraiser brought in $75,000 to support the all-volunteer Association’s work enhancing life on the Peninsula. And, thank you Steven Silva for the photos.
