Please join us in supporting the PLA at our 59th annual fundraising dinner on October 27th.

The oldest all-volunteer non-profit organization in Point Loma, PLA’s mission is to beautify, inform, and advocate to improve our quality of life on the peninsula.

Since 1961, PLA has been improving the area through year-round efforts that include installing the Point Loma Village Lights, maintaining dozens of public landscape sites throughout Point Loma and Ocean Beach, establishing public art murals, transforming electrical boxes into lovely works of art, removing graffiti and unsightly billboards, and more. 

In addition, we sponsor community conversation forums to inform local residents about emerging issues that may impact our neighborhoods. We also strengthen the collective sense of belonging through business and social mixers that are held throughout the year.

And today, we are in the final homestretch to fully fund the Peninsula Gateway sign which will be installed on Rosecrans St. Yet another beautiful landmark to celebrate our incredible community!

Your support is a critical investment in the power of community, and your contributions help us continue to maintain and improve Point Loma as a lasting legacy for ourselves, our children, and future generations. 

There are four easy ways you can help us raise money for PLA by supporting the Masquerade on the Marina gala, our biggest fundraiser of the year:

  1. Attend the gala! Wear your mask and peacock colors - it’s part of the fun!

  2. Underwrite a key need for the event

  3. Sponsor a table for your friends, family, neighbors, co-workers, and/or business.

  4. Donate an item for either our Silent or Live Auction
