Wendy Garrett Rosenthal

Point Loma native, Wendy Rosenthal, is the daughter of Allen and Judy Garrett. Judy is a past PLA Board member. Wendy and her mom were in MADCAPS together, and now Wendy and her daughter, Jessa, carry on that tradition. Wendy is also a member of Point Loma Assembly, and Rady Children’s Hospital La Playa Unit.

Wendy and family have lived from coast to coast, with three stops in Chicago. She volunteered in communities along the way, and returned with her two children to Point Loma in 2013.

Wendy works as a lender for Fairway Independent Mortgage and has previous experience in real estate and hospitality.

While living in Chicago, Wendy visited Celeste Trepte at her summer home in Michigan. She and the PLA founding member talked about Point Loma and the Association, and Wendy says, “All I wanted to do was return home and be involved, too. And here I am.”
